EI Elemental Series
Advantages
- EI Elemental systems are specifically designed for particular operating environments. Essential Innovations has developed individual systems to operate very efficiently in different kinds of climates.
- The EI Elemental System, unlike its competitors who all started with R22, has its foundation in R410a. R410a is a new ecologically friendly, extremely efficient refrigerant that is emerging as the industry standard for GeoExchange technology.
- The EI Elemental is operated by state of the art digital controls designed to regulate and monitor key control points of the heat pump. The digital controls store and collect real time control point data of the EI Elemental. This data is then processed by Artificial Intelligence Controls and Diagnostics to provide maximized system efficiencies and indoor comfort control. The AICD system incorporates an LCD screen and simple keypad promoting functionality through ease of use. Additionally, the system is upgradeable and allows for interoperability with other integrated home management systems.
Benefits
- Environmentally Friendly: Non-Polluting system with no exhaust emissions.
- Lower Operating Costs: Experience savings of up to 70% on heating and cooling costs due to the efficiencies of the system as compared to conventional HVAC systems.
- Low Maintenance: Has few moving parts.
- High Level of Comfort: Superior heating and cooling comfort as compared to traditional HVAC systems.
- Flexibility: Unit provides heat, central air conditioning & hot water production all from the same compact unit.

Forced Air Systems
Boreas
The Boreas is a Forced air heating and cooling system that excels in warmer climates. It is specifically designed to heat and cool in areas that predominately require cooling but some heating as well. The different orientations and flow patterns make it a versatile unit. It can be mounted in closets, in a crawlspace, in a drop ceiling. The Desuperheater option allows the heatpump to generate domestic hot water.
Zephyrus
The Zephyrus is a Forced air heating and cooling system that excels in colder climates. It is specifically designed to heat and cool in areas that predominately require heating but some cooling as well. The different orientations and flow patterns make it a versatile unit. It can be mounted in closets, in a crawlspace, in a drop ceiling. The Desuperheater option allows the heatpump to generate domestic hot water.
System Options
- Desuperheater with Internally mounted pump
- Cupronickel heat exchanger for harsh water condition
- ECM motor for variable speed to for improved comfort
- Variable speed compressor for load to supply matching, for increased efficiencies
- Back up electric heat
- Electrostatic Air Filter
- Internally mounted slow acting water valve for source side
Hydronic Systems
Triakus
The Triakus is designed for applications that require hot water only. It is ideal for hydronic floor applications or domestic hot water generation. If a double wall heat exchanger is used the Triakus can provide hydronic hot water as well as dedicated domestic hot water. If a Desuperheater is added it can generate domestic hot water whenever the unit is operating to provide hydronic heat.
Tangaroa
The Tangaroa is designed for applications that require hot water for heating as well as chilled water for cooling. They can be integrated into applications containing fan coil units to directly supply the heating and cooling requirements or used in conjunction with a boiler and chiller tower.
System Options
- Cupronickel heat exchanger for harsh water condition
- Desuperheater with internally mounted pump
- Variable speed compressor for load to supply matching, for increased efficiencies
- Internally mounted slow acting water valve
- Double wall vented heat exchanger (for dedicated domestic water production)
Combined Systems
Atlas
The Atlas is best suited for residential spaces that require both radiant floor heating and forced air heating and cooling. It can also be used where forced heating and cooling with dedicated domestic hot water generation is desired. Dedicated domestic hot water means that the heatpump will turn on specifically to heat a domestic hot water supply. The precedence of air heating and hydronic heating can be modified.
System Options
- Desuperheater with Internally mounted pump
- Cupronickel heat exchanger for harsh water condition on the source side
- ECM motor for variable speed to for improved comfort
- Variable speed compressor for load to supply matching, for increased efficiencies
- Back up electric heat
- Electrostatic Air Filter
- Internally mounted slow acting water valve for source side
- Double wall vented heat exchanger (for dedicated domestic water heating)
